I was pleasantly surprised with my platter. Omg...I wanted to hug them after my first bite! Excellent service, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. Will definitely be back!

(EXCUSE MY CAMERA)..THIS WAS FROM OCT 28, 2024… VERY FRESH, VERY DELICIOUS WELL SEASONED FOOD!!! I HAD THE 10 WING DINGS WITH MAC & CHEESE & COLLARDS…. THE CHICKEN WAS IN A SWEET THAI CHILI SAUCE THAT WASN’T DRENCHED IN SAUCE, YET HAD THE RIGHT AMOUNT…. THE MAC & CHEESE & COLLARDS TASTED LIKE HOME!!!…. THIS WAS REAL COMFORT FOOD THAT WASN’T SKIMPED ON OR LACKING!!!… AS A MATTER OF FACT, I’M ORDERING AGAIN TONIGHT!!!… I HAD ENOUGH FOR TWO DAYS UNTIL MY GREEDY GRANDSON CAME THE NEXT DAY & SAID, ‘NA NA, WHAT’S IN THE PLATTER?… CAN I HAVE SOME?’…. THERE WENT MY NEXT DAY’S DINNER!!!.. BUT DON’T WORRY, I’M ORDERING AGAIN TONIGHT & WILL HIDE IT!!!’🤣😂. BUT ORDER YOURS, REALLY GOOD FOOD!!!!💜💯. Sorry about the pic i got to that food before taking a picture, so you know it was a problem 😂 the mussels were amazing! They were huge as u can see and not tiny and brittle like the frozen ones from other places 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. I will be ordering often fs! My new seafood spot. 5 Stars keep it up !

Ordered a fish platter after another restaurant was closed , food was excellent, long wait was not expected especially when I called my order in , but pretty good spot to check out late night . The lady in back was life saver and got my order moving a little quicker . Shout out to her , 🤙🏽

It is very seldom that I leave a review or comment but IT WOULD BE SELFISH OF ME TO NOT SHARE THIS GOOD OL’ FOOD. The soul food is bomb, I had the Cheese steak rolls, Cabbage, and butter corn) and the African food was just how I like it , a little spice but not to much to were I couldn’t not enjoy it (Potato Greens and Rice). If you are in the 69th street, Darby, south west area and have not tried JC Afrosoul food, then Please get there now !!!! S/o to the owner Christina and her Husband for showing me of the top female djs some love @DjDiorCartel !!! I will be back .

The food was sooooo good , the cabbage had curry sauce & it tastes magnificent, the butter garlic shrimp had so much flavor & rice was definitely seasoned & buttery asfffffffff . The cheesesteak was bussin !!!!!!If u don’t want to come to the bar at least come for the food !!!!!!💯💯💯💯💯💯 …
